In June 2012, the United Nations Conference on Sustainable DevelopmentRio+20 statt will be taking place in Rio. Twenty years after the legendary World Summit in Rio, the participants will be searching for solutions enablingfuture development in both prosperous and poor countries to unfold without jeopoardizing the planet's equilibrium.
The panel-discussion event, co-organized by the SDC, provides information on the negotiations underway, discussions on Switzerland's positions, and a critical analysis of the theme of sustainable development.
