Quality Assurance Section and Network

The SDC Quality Assurance Section and QA Network are involved with the planning, monitoring, and steering of development projects. Quality assurance contributes to the enhanced effectiveness and efficiency of SDC projects and programmes. In addition to a context-sensitive and targeted planning, all SDC projects are to dispose of a monitoring and evaluation practice, including a result-oriented reporting process, which foster learning and enhance project steering (Project Management Cycle). In this way, more statements concerning project effectiveness can be made. Quality Assurance formulates and develops the bases, the instruments and the standards needed for this, consolidates the training needed, and conducts coaching.
