16 February 2012: SDC/UNDP Conference Sustainability and equity: prospects for human development in the run-up to Rio +20 SDC welcomes the author of the last Human Development Report to a conference which seeks to reconcile environmental sustainability and social equity. In Bern, Eva Jespersen will debate with the audience the feasibility of reconciling these two notions. This is a central issue in the run-up to the Rio + 20 Conference in June 2012.
